Frequently Asked Questions
Everything sellers usually ask before their first visit. Don't see your question? Reach out and we'll answer it directly.
We weigh your item, test its purity in front of you, then multiply the net gold weight by the tested karat and the live spot rate for that day, less a disclosed service margin. Your receipt shows every one of these figures individually.
No. Hallmarked items are quicker to value, but unmarked or undocumented pieces — including inherited jewelry — are tested independently using electronic testers, acid tests, or fire assay for higher-value items. For larger transactions we may ask for identification and, where applicable, proof of ownership.
Once you accept the written offer, UPI and cash payments are completed on the spot, and bank transfers typically settle within one business day, subject to regulatory limits on cash transactions.
Not at all. You can walk away with your items and your free written quote at any point before formally accepting the final offer, at no cost. We'd rather you compare and come back confident than feel pressured on the spot.
Yes. Items are sealed in a tamper-evident bag in front of you and are covered under full transit insurance from the moment they leave your hands until the valuation is complete and you've accepted or declined the offer.
A government-issued photo ID is required for every transaction, and you must be at least 18 years old and the lawful owner of the item. This is standard practice under anti-money-laundering regulations, not something unique to us.
Yes, and we'd recommend it over averaging. We sort and test each piece by its own karat rather than blending a mixed lot into a single figure, so higher-purity pieces aren't diluted by lower-purity ones in the final number.
You're free to decline and take your items with you at no cost, any time before you formally accept in writing. If a disagreement arises after a completed sale, raise it with our support team within seven days and we'll work through it directly.
